Between 8th and 12th August 2023 took part of the FAI 2 Polish Open, with 34 players from around the world – Poland, Czechia, Lithuania, France, Spain, Finland, Holland, Italy, and Qatar.

At the competition, we could see a clear victory of Qatar in the OPEN PF1 and PL1 classes:

PL1:

  1. Hayan AL-HEBABI
  2. Ibrah HUSSAIN
  3. Milan KLEMENT
  4. Abdulrahman Mohamed

PF1

  2. Naif AL-BALOSHI
  3. Saeed MALHIYA
  4. Thomas MISIUNAS

We are invariably proud that the Qatar team has been betting on the wings of Dudek Paragliders for years. It is worth mentioning that our brand definitely dominated among the players.

Another great event for us was the success of the young pilot from Team Dudek Paragliders – Seweryn Sobczak: POLISH CHAMPIONSHIPS PF1: 2nd place, DEBUT 1st place, SERIES: 1st place. It is nice to see this young, talented man in the air, who still hasn’t shown his full potential.

The SERIAL class was launched, which assumed the share of wings not smaller than 17m2. Thanks to this, people who flew on less high-performance equipment, such as they often fly on a daily basis, could compete with each other. Pilots in the SERIAL class are not forced to compete with the best competitors in the discipline, who additionally have access to the latest and most competitive equipment.

POLISH CHAMPIONSHIPS

PL1

  1. Adam PUPEK
  2. Wojciech PANAS
  3. Michal RADKA
  4. Wojciech STRZYZAKOWSKI

PF1

  1. Bartosz NOWICKI
  2. Seweryn SOBCZAK
  3. Norbert PAJĄK
  4. Tomasz WALCZAK

For the first time, the team competition “relays” was held. Mixed teams consisted of 3 pilots competing in different categories. The pilots flew into the stadium one by one and performed the flights assigned to them. The team that made three flights the fastest and didn’t make a single mistake won. The competition was very spectacular and attracted many spectators from outside. The first places were:

  1. CZECH REPUBLIC (HALAMA, TRYML, KLEMENT)
  2. LITHUANIA (SALTENIS, MISIUNAS, RUDOKAS)
  3. QATAR (AL-BALOSHI, AL-HAJJAJI, AL-HEBABI)

We want to thank the organisers for the well-prepared competition and the pilots for a beautiful show of sports emotions. Following your passion, in which you can realize yourself using the equipment that we produce is amazing! Congratulations and see you at the next events!
