Our experience in designing wings with reflex profiles allowed us to achieve success already at the beginning of the design and testing phase of Touch, so we had a lot of time to refine even the smallest details.

Touch is our answer to the concept of “parakite” wings, which are a combination of paragliders and kites. They are characterized by a different control system from those found in traditional paragliders and a different purpose.
We believe that the specifics of construction and use, and consequently the user experience, are significantly different from standard paragliders.

Touch is intended for a wide range of pilots – from intermediate to professionals. To fly Touch safely, you must first understand how its control system works.
The wing allows for both calm and energetic, dynamic flights. The Touch shows its greatest potential in the dunes and was designed with use in such an environment in mind.

Design and construction

The unique control system in Touch is the main source of its capabilities, which is why we have made every effort to ensure that the control over the wing is both efficient and intuitive. The control is responsive, which allows the pilot to feel “connected” with the wing.
Touch has a reflex profile optimized for use in parakites, allowing for safer flying at low angles of attack/high speeds. This profile makes the wing exceptionally stable and resistant to doubling compared to traditional paragliders, especially in the case of faster speed configurations.
During the Touch design and testing process, we managed to achieve high flight stability while maintaining good performance and efficient control. We wanted these parameters to be well balanced.

In the case of Touch, the size selection is different than in traditional paragliders. To get the most out of it, more factors than just starting weight need to be adjusted. Detailed information on this topic can be found in the manual.

Our experience shows that the optimal situation is to have several Touch sizes and choose the appropriate one after assessing the actual conditions at a given moment.
Intermediate sizes, such as 18 (for light pilots) and 22 (for heavier pilots), are the most universal.
More details on this can be found in the manual.

Thanks to the careful selection of modern fabrics and construction solutions with the coastal environment difficult for paragliders in mind, we have ensured that Touch is very durable.

All materials used come from numbered series, and each production stage can be verified (identify a specific employee and controller).

The entire production takes place in Poland under strict control of the designer, which ensures the highest European quality of workmanship.

Design solutions, technologies and other functionalities are listed below in the Technologies section.

DRA - Dudek Reflex Airfoil

DRA – Dudek Reflex Airfoil -applied in PPG wings fully autostabilised arofoil, based on long years of research and experience. In our variant we managed to get rid of typical flaws associated with these aerofoils.

SN - Shark-nose

Airtakes designed and executed in Shark-nose technology meaning specific, concave shape of the reinforced profile area at its leading edge (the name comes form the very shape, reminding shark’s nose).

MR - Mini-Ribs

Mini ribs speak for themselves – they are additionally introduced in the trailing edge between main ribs. Their task is to decrease ballooning (expanding and deformation of the cells) in this vital area af the aerofoil.

Keeping the rear part in shape reduces the drag induced behind trailing edge, thus improving general airflow and increasing airspeed.

ACS - Auto Cleaning Slots

Dedicated slots automatically removing dirt from the wing tips.

CSG - Canopy Shape Guard

CSG – Canopy Shape Guard – is our unique system controlling canopy coherence. It is because of this system that our wings are equally tensioned, smooth, stable and… simply remarkable.

LR - Laser Technology

Capabilities of the laser cutter allow for serial cutting of complicated shape narrow elements in large numbers, their optimal placing in relation to structure of the textile and highest possible precision of cut.

FET - Flexi Edge Technology

The leading edge is closed to the airflow, and its precise shape is kept with laminated cloth reinforcements, incorporating synthetic rods. The rods make the leading edge stiffer and smoother, bringing improvements in many areas – from easier inflation, through stiffening the canopy in flight to improved general airflow.

CP - Catch Pins

Loops sewn to the upper surface of the canopy on the leading edge allow it to be attached to the ground with the pins supplied, in order to fix the canopy in place when launching on steep slopes or snow.

NFC - Near Field Communication chip

The paraglider has a chip installed under the wing sticker, thanks to which you will get immediate access to our system with an NFC-enabled phone.

3L - Three-liner

Thanks to introduction of stiffening rods (Flexi Edge Technology) and other internal reinforcements, elimination of one suspension row – from four to three – was possible. In effect, reduced total length of lines led to reduction of the drag, thus improving overall performance of the design.

Seweryn is Dudek R&D team member. He was involved in Touch development.

We have achieved a great succes in my opinion. When we were shooting the promo videos I had zero problems doing the tricks in the exactly planned place. It clearly showed that the precise handling which we were trying to achieve is definitelly there! All sizes have their own purposes so we can easilly fit each of them for different uses. Im proud of the achieved stability level while keeping the right amount of dive ability and performance. Im sure that Touch is well balanced in all aspects!

Jakub Bączkowski

Jakub is very talented Dudek Team Pilot. He was one of the first pilots who flew with Touch.

Touch is the most versatile wing I have ever flown with—I’ve used it with skis, in very strong winds, and in calm conditions. The thing I immediately fell in love with was the control over energy, which I haven’t experienced with any other wing so far. The precise handling that Touch offers provides a lot of satisfaction in stabi-touching, footdrags, and misty landings.
