Nucleon XX
Nucleon XX
This is yet another piece in a long line of classic reflex paragliders, from Traper through Action and ReAction, up to Nucleon and Nucleon WRC.
This model is dedicated for the cross-country pilots, middle echelon of competitors and weekend sight-seers. It is stable, safe, agile and very agreeable in steering.
Design and purpose
NOTE – the last items are available in stock!
We no longer accept new orders.
The Nucleon XX, like the WRC, was manufactured in Flexi Edge technology, offering better leading edge aerodynamics. Another key feature is the Shark Nose profile, guaranteeing high pressure in cell intakes area (=even better safety) in full speed/angle of attack range. Also the 3D ballooning was taken into account even more precisely than earlier wings.
Due to these and other solutions the quality of launch was improved and the leading edge is even stiffer, offering further protection against collapses.
As another effect we’ve got increased lift, so the canopy is able to carry bigger loads. As a direct result all sizes are somewhat smaller, up to 3 qm per given pilot weight.
Forthe first time in this category we’ve decided to offer the 2D steering as standard feature. This includes precisely designed progression, so the paraglider can be steered surely and effortlessly. At high speeds the paraglider can be very precisely steered with new, improve, light TST handle.
Nucleon XX sports anniversary colour design of the four elements – Air, Water, Earth and Fire.
It is certified for paramotoring in the ULM scheme.
Caution!
When ordering the wing please specify your preferred hangpoints (high or low), so that we can prepare your risers accordingly (position of steering handles and balls).
With none information received, paraglider will be expedited with low hangpoint setting. Of course switching the configuration is relatively easy to do at any time.

* Speeds are given as estimated for the middle wing size and the middle of its weight range. These speeds can vary within +/- 3 km / h depending on the size, take-off weight and additional factors such as air pressure and temperature.
** The basic rule is to choose the size of the wing so that the take-off weight is in the middle of the weight range. Less weight on the wing (lower range take-off weight) can be considered for foot take-off, when flying in calmer conditions, or when we want to improve economy. More experienced pilots who want to fly dynamically, have higher speed and fly in more demanding wind conditions can consider greater wing loading (take-off weight in the upper range). This is a common option among trike users.
Note – the canopy significantly changes its behavior with increasing wing loading. The greater the loads, the greater skill and concentration of the pilot are required.
